Christmas Party fun!!!!

Mrs. Cregger's class joined our class, and we made 3D snowflakes! I thought it would be fun to add a touch of winter to the second and third grade hallway!

Working on our parents Christmas gifts with the fire going and of course while listening to some Christmas music!

Mr. Veit's daughters came and talked to the kids about Rubik cubes! They had a lot of questions for the girls and were very interested! One of the third graders competed against one of Mr. Veit's daughters. His daughter completed the cube within 40 seconds and Harrison completed it in a minute 10 seconds. I was very impressed! :)

We had a lot of fun coming up with Christmas words with a partner!

During the first week of Advent we are "Keeping Awake"

I loved how our poster turned out. Each student had a piece of the poster and colored it. We then as a class put the pieces together. We discussed ways in which we are going to work together to Keep Awake during this advent season!

We had a wonderful time going to the movies to see Wonder!

We had a really great discussion after the movie about the differences and the similarities of the book to the movie!

We went to the computer lab to type our Talking Cloth paragraphs! Typing can be very difficult, but they handled it like champs!

The Halloween Party was a blast!
